Haha, I love this in concept but...

I think execution wise the clips they chose weren't actiony enough to do the BtVS theme song justice. Also, the Elena power shot? I'm a little underwhelmed. I think Bonnie should inherit the power shot since it would, ya know, be a real power shot. Or have Katherine as the power shot. POWER SHOT NEEDS BE POWERFUL. :p

I actually really recommend it. It starts out about as cheesy and melodramatic as you would think, but somewhere along the line it becomes, like, good. With an interesting mythology and way fun backstories. Plus: lots of awesome ladies. Ladies who are smart and resourceful and have agency! Ladies who have relationships with each other! Some ladies who are good and some who are evil and some who are somewhere in between!

WIN! I especially like the timing with Bonnie and the the flames and the WHOOSH noise. Though I would have preferred to have Alaric as the finale character instead of Jenna.

Aw! Alaric! I'm so fond of him! But I do think Jenna is underrated/underused, so it made me glad to see her.

Speaking of underused, where has Bonnie been? I miss that girl! They better bring her back soon and give her an actual arc!
